James joined Southgate School as Head of Business and Economics in 2014. In 2016, James joined the Senior Leadership Team as an Associate Member and then became Assistant Headteacher in 2018. James worked as part of the Teaching and Learning Team for three years and then moved into the Organisation Team at Southgate School.  

James currently leads on data at Southgate School and has successfully introduced new data analysis systems to the school. He was appointed Deputy Headteacher at Southgate in 2022 and will combine his role at Southgate with the role of Assistant Director of Standards for the Middlesex Learning Trust. 

In his current role, James leads on KS3 data across Middlesex Learning Trust and will work alongside other members of the team to develop our assessment systems and analysis of school performance.
