Compton's Instrumental Ensemble and some Y10 Singers went to the LSO Discovery Concert at the Barbican on Thursday 8th November.  Here they were treated to seats in the front row of the Concert Hall to watch the London Symphony Orchestra perform some movements from Beethoven's revolutionary Symphonies No 5, 6 and 7.  They also heard commentary by Rachel Leach, BBC Presenter, about Beethoven's life and his works.
